6-6-99 Day two of the King of the Cape freestyle comp. More wind and
the pro's went off BIG TIME, loop's, vulcans and more willyskippers than
the Amazon River!!! I started on a 5.2 and my JP but it just was not enough
so I used Janice's 5.8(hot,slide) and a 260 JP freestyle and that combo
was just what I needed to advance to the semi finals. From there I made
the final and with a lot of work beat Mike-B for first place in the novice
division. The wind kept building and Janice and I sailed for an hour after
the compition was over.SW wind sunny and hot. Josh Stone won the Pro division. |
