Winning entries are guaranteed publication in June 2005 issue.

2004 Poetry Contest Guidelines:
 

1. The contest is open to new and established writers.
2. Poems are open to any subject matter and need not be GLBT-specific.
3. Writers may submit a maximum of five peoms for consideration; poems shoud not exceed 60 lines.
4. Entries must include an $8 reading fee (total) and a SASE for notifcation.  Or provide email address for notification.
5. Include name, address, phone, and email on each page.
6. Entries must be postmarked no later than May 15, 2005 to be considered.
7. All entries will be considered for publication in an upcoming issue of Gertrude.
8. Winning entries will be announced no later than July 1, 2005
9. Winning entries are guaranteed publication in the 2005 (August) issue of Gertrude and will be posted at http://www.gertrude-journal.com
