I am an audio podcast junkie because I can download these "broadcasts," put them on my pocket recorder and play them back at any time or place. The collection of web sites listed here is oriented toward skeptic and atheistic subjects that has been filter to contain reasonably competent production values and content.
RSS is available.

- American Freethought ★★

Bimonthy group roundtable discussion. Podcasts about 1-hour long. On indefinite hiatus/

- Church of Awesome ★★★★
Weekly group discussion.
- Comments for Human Tales ★★★
More formal presentations. Mix of positions.

For someone with a perverse sense of humor, like myself, this podcast is the best of this list---it is really worth five stars. Two guys review the news and foibles of the religious for about an hour once a week.
- Common Sense Atheism ★★★
Series of interviews 30 to 60 minutes in length. Generally well done with variety of views; both theistic and atheistic. Closed operation but archive will remain. I will delete this entry in near future.
- Critical Eye Podcast ★★
Very much a bunch of guys with a 6 pack. May start on topic but often meanders of into general bull session.

Group discussions lead by David Smalley on a variety of subjects. Includes audio from alternate sources. Podcasts can be quite long---over two hours. Weekly schedule.
- The Dumbasses Guide To Knowledg ★★
One man show that explores issues related to critical thinking and evidence. Monthly at best. Style questionable. Not frequent enough.

Reasonable content consisting of 30 minute broadcasts covering humanist subjects---usually interviews. Biggest problem is with the organization of the archive which is currently segmented.
- For Good Reason. ★★★★
D.J Grothe's podcast site after he took on the management of JREF. Unsure of technical connection with JREF because JREF site does not reference this one. Format good quality inverviews on a flexible schedule. Length usually over 30 minutes. Postings infrequemt.

- Minnesota Atheists ★★★★
This site is a combination of audio and video podcasts. For standard mp[3-4] downloads select the RSS options. The radio podcasts are currently in hiatus but they reportedly will start again soon. Because the video/cable shows are mostly talking heads, there is little loss in down loading the audio versions. This group has its act together.
