Founded in 1991, the Georgia Field Hockey Association ("GFHA") is a
non-profit, recreational club dedicated to promoting and preserving the
sport of field hockey for both men and women. Found predominantly in the
Northeast and West Coast of the U.S., and widespread throughout the
other continents, field hockey is a wonderful sport with one of the
oldest histories. The sport is slowly making its way to the Southern
U.S., which is why most of our members are transplants from other
states, as well as abroad.
GFHA is one of a few adult
clubs located in the South. We are constantly looking to
increase our membership and we welcome men and women of all skill
levels, including beginners. We hope you will join us soon to begin, or
renew, your love of the game!
Within these pages, you will
find information on how to join, social events, the 2008 Atlanta Cup
tournament (to be hosted by the GFHA), and much more. Look through the site and
then drop us a line!
