| Hotel Ambassador: Quite nice. Only a 3 minute walk from the train station and near the shopping district and not too far from the Old City -- Alt Stadt | View out my window from the 6th floor. Rhine Tower in the distance. |

| Breakfast Bar at the hotel. Each morning tons of food included in the room price. This is a larger buffet than is usual for most hotels. | Eat until you drop -- if you like. Various meats, cheeses, breads, jams, cereals, fruits, salade, etc. |

| Every thing starts at the train station. Here the trains, U-Bahn, S-Bahn (subways) have their terminals. The cost of the ride is about 1€ (currently about 1$). Santa is taking over the town. | Elongated trolly cars at the train station. They too take you all over town. |

| They come from every direction and carry a lot of people due to their length. | Here is a chestnut vendor at the main train station. There are many all over town. It's a great sidewalk snack. |

|
| I took a bus Fam Trip around the city for a couple of hours. The guide pointed out points of interest, some of which I visited later. | That's the Rhine River and the Rhine Tower as you look through the bus window. Of course it is the highest point in the city. |
