| The Shadowplatz is the start of a large shopping district with more budget stores than "Kings' Alley." Here is also an extensinve Christmas Cottage market up and down the streets and in the squares and plazas. | The sign reads Christmas Market at Schadowplatz. |

|
| There are lots of food and beverage cottages mixed in amoung the gift cottages. Here is a Crepe vendor. | A typical aisle in a Christmas Market. It has just opened and is not as yet crowded -- but just wait. |

| Christmas orniments at a three peaked cottage | I love to go to department stores in Europe. Lots of different things available. Galeria Kaufhof is part of a large chain, in fact, there are many of them here and they date back 120 years. |

| I always find kitchenware and clothing that are interesting and small enough to fit into my suitcase to take back home. | One of the most well known and inexpensive department store chains in Europe is the C&A. Always a must stop. Those are little Christmas Cottages that are up and down the streets. |

| Christmas decorations are everywhere. Here are some pine reindeers prancing around the dome of a shopping mall. | I even got to see Santa on his sleigh. He was hanging out in an antique and rug store. |
