The carillon (glockenspiel), located on the tower of the New Town Hall ( Neues Rathaus) not only plays several tunes on appointed hours during the day, but the figures move, dance and spin telling a Bavarian story. People always gather in front at 11am for the event and the Marien Platz is packed with on-lookers.
