Playing on the main stage are Jo van Strien leader of the River Zydeco Band (RZB) and the person responsible of producing this event every year, Frank Savoy (RZB saxophonist), originally from Louisiana, now living in Holland and Willis Prudhomme leader of Willis Prudhomme & The Zydeco Express, premier American group of the 2000 festival
The host band, River Zydeco Band, is a popular attraction here in Holland as well as throughout Europe spreading the Zydeco word and attracting more people into the genere
Singer/Musician Janne Swolfs of RZB always pleases the crowd during the many numbers where she is featured
Zydeco Instructors Mary Elms (United Kingdom) and Gary Hayman (Maryland) join the RZB on stage to conduct several demonstrations to encourage the festival goers to dance. On rubboard is Wayne Kahn (Washington DC) helping out.
