| As the shade traveled across the floor, more and more dancers started to Zydeco. | Many on lookers had never heard the music before or witnessed this type of dancing. They were enthralled with the performances. |

| One excellent band was "T" Broussard & the Zydeco Stompers. | He presented an excellent combination of new and old Zydeco sounds. |
|
|

| He was supported by the renowned bass player Classie Ballou ... | who is noted for his bass hanging bandana ... this time one that looks like a flag. |

| On rhythem guitar was June Barfield who plays in almost every touring Zydeco band you can name. | Out of California is the leader of Mark St. Mary Zydeco & Blues Band. Not seen often around the country it was a treat to see and hear this west coast Zydeco band. |

| Louisiana Sue keeps a sharp look-out for beer cups on the dance floor. She has a keen eye and a loud voice which kept the dance floor dry. Her secondary purpose on stage was to present beads -- millions of them -- to the assembled clamoring bead heads. |
