NEW YORK SHIP WINS RIVER TITLE
One Touchdown Defeats Merchant's Team in Game for Championship
the New York Shipyard Athletic Association's football team defeated the Merchants shipyard team yesterday by a score of 6 to 0 and thereby won the championship of the Delaware River shipyards. The only touchdown was made in the last period when Hugo made a plunge of 10 yards through the the center and pushed the ball over the goal line. Wabo played a great game for the Merchants team.
