QUAKERS BY SAFETY WIN FROM COALDALE
Thrill Crowd by Scoring in Opening minutes of Game on Cofall's Play.
NEITHER ABLE TO ADVANCE
Little and Scott Star for Philadelphians, But Lud Wray is Banished.
Coaldale, Pa., Oct. 29. -- "Heine" Miller's Philadelphia Quakers won from Coaldale here today in a game that thrilled the 5000 spectators from the first minute of play until the final whistle. The score was 2 to 0, the tally being the result of a safety by Cofall in the first quarter. This is the first defeat Coaldale has sustained this season. The line bucking of Little and Scott gained much ground for the Quakers, while Malley, Lithgow and Bonner were the line bumpers of note for Coaldale. The superb tackling of Evans held down the Quakers score. "Lud" Wray was dismissed from the game in the second quarter for undue roughness and interference.
