William Baker Corresponds with Johnny Scott & Lud Wray

This letter, from Philadelphia Phillies president William Baker, to Johnny Scott and Lud Wray in response to their efforts to secure the use of Phillies Park, also known as the Baker Bowl, for use by the Union Club for the team's 1921 home games. The two parties eventually came to terms, although it was the Union Quakers of Philadelphia, not the Union Club of Phoenixville, that played in the stadium that season.
