YELLOWJACKETS FIND FOE EASY

Big Northeast Team Trims Orange Eleven 50-0; Johnny Scott Plays Star Game

The Frankford Yellowjackets foot ball team had a field day Saturday when they smothered the Orange (N. J.) A. C. team, 50-0, at Brown's Field, Oxford av. and the Boulevard.

Following the kick-off, Scott ran the ball to midfield, and then opened up a bag of tricks that had the opposition bewildered trying to locate the man with the ball. Lehecka carried the ball through left tackle for the first touchdown five minutes after play started. Scott kicked the goal.

Frankford worked the ball to the opposition thirty-five yard line. When the defense stiffened, Scott dropped back to the forty-five yard line an [sic] kicked a perfect field goal. Two more touchdowsn [sic] were scored in the initial period.

Frankford scored thirteen points in the second quarter, but in the third period the opposition stiffened and held the home team to one touchdown. Orange threatened to score in the final period, advancing the ball from midfield to Frankford's 10-yard line by three well executed forward passes.
