Tutoring
The NHS member seeks to improve not only their scholastic abilities, but that of their fellow classmate as well.
NHS members are required to have at least 4 hours of in-school tutoring each year.
Tutoring service will be provided by NHS members in coordination with the after school Homework Club. Students and faculty can also request help on an as needed basis.
To place a request for a tutor, email mruland@comcast.net
and state your name, subject/teacher, availability and method of contact.
You can also pick up a tutoring request form outside room 141.
There is currently a need for services in the following areas:
Latin 2
Spanish 2
Pre-Calculus
To submit tutor hours, complete the following form and submit the hard copy to Mrs. Ruland. Your hours will be posted under Member Hour Count.
Tutoring takes place in Mrs. Ruland's classroom, Rm. 141
Members are also required to tutor at Glenwood MS or Folly Quarter MS on their assigned weekend.
