Links to various sites of people I have worked with, or contracted work from, or simply know in the music biz in my local area.
THE ESSENTIALS: Local 8-piece R&B / Rock & Roll Horn Band. I worked as their FOH sound engineer between 1999 and late 2002. Prior to that, I was the house sound engineer for about 2 years at the Flanders Street Brew Pub, which catered to the local blues / folk / rock scene. Artists I've mixed shows for at Flanders included Kelly Joe Phelps, Lloyd Jones, Paul Delay, Terry Robb, Tommy Tutone, Steve Bradley, Blue Honey, Ivan's Wish, Rebecca Kilgore, Turtle Vandemire, Lea Krueger, Craig Carothers, and countless others too many to mention. Regarding Lea's band, Shira, her engineer, is the lead sound engineer...I just enjoyed lending a hand. Speaking of Lea Krueger, check out the hyperlink to her site below for THE LEA KRUEGER BAND. In my opinion, Lea is one of the best vocal talents and singer / songwriters to come out of the Northwest. My "garage band" days are long since gone, and I have pretty much hung up everything to spend more time with my family. I do still enjoy playing the guitar, it's just not as often anymore.
THE KOOLTONES: Very fun local 4-piece rock band. Worth checking out.
VIBROWORLD: This is where I contracted the construction of my Marshall TV-replica 4x12 cabinet.
FRESHTRACKS: A local full-service studio that also offers session work on your projects. John, the owner, is currently playing with the Kooltones.
PLEXI PALACE: My favorite internet bulletin board for guitar and amplifier info. If you're into vintage amps, especially Marshall Plexis, there is no better source of information.
