JAVI CABRERA-PEREZ
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Javi is currently a senior at Columbia University, majoring in Biomedical Engineering pursuing the Cellular/Tissue track. He is also currently an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where his research focuses on immune reconstitution therapies after allogeneic Bone Marrow Transplantation using T-cell precursors. He is a co-author in the paper "Adoptive transfer of T-cell precursors enhances T-cell reconstitution after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation" (Nature Medicine, 2006 Sep;12(9):1039-47. Epub 2006 Aug 27. He has also worked with Dr. Ann-Judith Silverman, vice chair of the Anatomy and Cell Biology Department at Columbia Medical School in mice models of hypoxia/ischemia and the role of mast cells in the development of neonatal stroke. His clinical research experience includes being a Clinical Undergraduate Fellow at the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation and working under the guidance of the world renowned cardiologist Dr. Barry Maron, FACC. He is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research, SACNAS and BMES, as well as the campus representative for AAAS's Minority Scientist Network.
ANN CHEUNG
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Ann is currently a senior at Columbia University, majoring in Biomedical Engineering pursuing the Cellular/Tissue track. Her favourite colour is either sky blue, lemon yellow, or candy apple red, depending on the day of the week. Ann enjoys finding ways to genetically synthesize multivalent peptides and studying surface chemistry in biological systems under Prof. Samuel Sia. Prior to entering Prof. Sia's lab, Ann had a fun time chasing after myosins in mouse fibroblasts and learning biochemical physics from Dr. Yunfei Cai in Prof. Michael Sheetz's lab. Her other passions lie in looking at maps, playing scrabble, and writing songs.
SIDDARTH MITROO
Chief Technical Officer (CTO)
Siddarth is currently a senior at Columbia University, majoring in Biomedical Engineering pursuing the Cellular/Tissue track. He researches for the Biomaterials and Interface Tissue Engineering Lab where he works on mesenchymal stem cell differentiation for applications in tissue regeneration and is co-author on: "Age-dependent changes in matrix composition and organization at the ligament-to-bone insertion", Journal of Orthopedic Research, 2006. He also worked as a clinical research associate for St. Lukešs Roosevelt Emergency Department and was a research assistant at the Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy in Milan, Italy.
GILBERT PAPAGAYO
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Gilbert is currently a senior at Columbia University, majoring in Biomedical Engineering pursuing the Cellular/Tissue track. He is interested in public health issues, and as such his most recent research experience at the Fred Hutchinson Canccer Research Center involved studying gene expression in strains of F.tularensis, a highly virulent organism. His experience also includes malaria research at the University of Washington. As part of his duties as CMO, Gilbert is also the webmaster of this site.

Kyle is currently a senior at Columbia University, majoring in Biomedical Engineering pursuing the Cellular/Tissue track.
