Yes, we are definitely cat freaks and not ashamed to admit it.

We know some people may not like cats, but we sure do.  Cats are so entertaining!

We have 3 cats that grace our lives: Socrates, Casey, and Shadow.

Socrates is about 12 years old and is a giant, stomping cat. He loves to stomp over whatever you are doing, which is obviously not as important as giving him some attention!  He also likes to deal out the head bonks and is a demanding lap cat.
  

Like most cats, Socrates loves to sleep the day away.

Casey is a 7 year old skinny orange cat whose single purpose in life is to remind us what the real essence of cat is: aloof until hungry! He is mellowing out in his old age, though, and lately has been fond of sneaking under the covers at night and snuggling with the peoples.

Casey loves to find odd places to sleep; he likes to sneak into one of the closets and sleep on top of the shelves.

Shadow is a young whipper-snapper at the ripe age of 5 and is the most easy going cat we have ever encountered. He likes to be picked up and carted around like a sack of flour; well, he is a complete ham in general.  Like Socrates, he is also a lap cat.

Maybe "lap cat" isn't the right term....."people cat" might be better, as he thinks people are like giant pieces of furniture.

It's interesting to see a group of cats form a social structure and how it operates, how the different cats react to each other and how they play together.
