Chapter Information


The Gov. Joseph Hiester Chapter was chartered on May 11, 1937. The chapter took it's name from Revolutionary War soldier and later Governer of Pennsylvania, Joseph Hiester and is based in Berks County, PA. Membership is open to any eligible applicant regardless of residence. For information on how to join the SAR, you can contact Chapter Genealogist/Registrar Eric Troutman at etroutman@juno.net.
