Lawrence A. Ali
Born and raised in Glassport until I married in 1989 then I relocated
to Greensburg, PA with my wife Vicki and our three children. I graduated
from SAHS '81 then went onto Comminity College of Allegehny County. After
graduation in 1983 I relocated to south Florida to where I was able to
secure employment in the engineering field. I relocated back to Glassport
in 1986 and was employed with Altrax Corp which was located at the former
Copperweld site. I am currently employed as a Regional Sales Manager with
a healthcare equipment company. I am fortunate to have many family and
freinds that still reside in Glassport and that welcomes me often to visit
and I still occasionally attend church in Glassport.

Born and raised in Glassport- Ohio Avenue; where the 9th Street
baseball diamond was the hub of activity all summer and 3rd Ward hoops
never seemed to end. Attended St Cecilia 57-65, Serra 65-69. Brother Bob
S.Allegheny 73' another solid Ex Glassporter. I Now live in Delaware Ohio
with wife Beth; son Mark lives now in Ottawa Canada. Still get back to
visit the greatest little town in the world to grow up in.

the USDA Forest Service and operate the Barton Flats Recreation Complex
in the San Bernardino Mtns northeast of Redlands, CA.

Avenue, left to join the USAF in 1978 then in 1982 began working for the
US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an air traffic controller.
Currently living and working in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates as the
Senior FAA Representative for the Middle East. Married 25 years to my wife
Pat (former from NJ), three daughters – Tracy 24, Kelly 21, and Kari 19

the mountains of Farmington with my one and only husband John and son Josh

I was a resident of Glassport from 1960-1980, graduated McKeesport
Vocational in 1972, went to St Cecelia's grade school, hung out with Timmy
March, Rick Pagrosi, Tony Gentile, Grinny...if you remember me I was always
hangin out on the bank steps....ran the pool hall for 2-3 yrs. Moved to
Phoenix Arizona in 1980, happily married to Teena, 5 kids, all grown, 4
1/2 grandkids, superintendent for a large southwest framing company. Planning
another visit to Glassport in June 2003!

in July. At the present time, I live in Ross Township, North Hills. I am
married to Dave Brink and have one child, Sean. Dave and I just celebrated
our 25th Wedding Anniversary, and we went for a tour of Ireland for a week.

Lived in Glassport 1957-67 on 524 Spruce Way between 5th &
6th. SA67. Glassport was the best place that a kid could grow up in. Retired
after 20yrs. military. I'm divorced (again). I'm in Meadville, Pa. Single
& rolling in the sidewalks. 65 is creeping up & these old bones
can't take the winters any more.I've been working as a school van driver
for special needs children during the week and for the last year and a

retirement at 62 in April. Then in late summer, early fall, 2010 joining

grad of the US Naval Academy stationed in Norfolk, VA, and Ryan (27) currently

Frank Dichiera
Born in Glassport in 1934 July 14 at 339 Mon Ave.and lived there
till 1943, then moved to Detroit Michigan. I often visited in the summer
time. John Truby and Tony DeCarlo were my friends. We had such good times
fishing at the river and hanging out at the candy store at Mon and 5th
street. I remember the black outs after the war started. My Dad Frank Dichiera
and my uncle Pete bought the Lapsley Bros. Building and lumber CO. They
called the business Dichiera Bros. Plumbing Co... There was a neon sign
with a dripping faucet on the building. My dad was the fire chief at the
#1 station, and later was the county fire chief. I returned to Glassport
in 1954 after I returned from the service. Then back to Detroit where I
spent 35 Years as a member of Local 25 Ironworkers Union. I retired in
1989 and moved to Temecula CA. Then in 1994 we moved to Lake Ozark, MO.
I have two daughters who live in Rochester Mi. and three Grandchildren.
I always remember how safe it was in Glassport growing up. You knew everybody
and everyone walked up the street to go shopping and to have an Ice creme
cone. The Rexal Drug store had the greatest soda fountain.

the Sisters of Divine Providence in Allison Park PA (a member for 36 years)
and attended La Roche College. I graduated from La Roche in 1974 with a
BS Degree in Mathematics and have enjoyed teaching students from 3rd grade

Moved to Glassport in 1989 from Elizabeth Forward. He attend Glassport
Elementry for 4th grade then moved up to St. Joseph Regional. After 8th
grade he moved on to South Allegheny High School. While at the high school
he was a part of the chorus and Medley of Voices. Being a part of the chorus
it opened the door to musical theatre. He was a part of The Music Man,
Annie, and Hello, Dolly! After grad in 99 he went on to Point Park College
in Downtown Pittsburgh. He starred in many shows in college. Now after
college he is a part of the Pittsburgh CLO tour of Young Washington. He
plays the part of George Washington. This tour is wrapping up after he
was a part of the show for over two years. Matt still lives in Glassport
and goes back and forth to his girlfriend Sara Canters house in Fair Oaks.

I moved to Glassport when I was eleven, 1950. I went to the 2nd
and 3rd ward schools. I went to Glassport High School. I left school in
1956 to Join the Navy. I spent eight years in the Navy. I was discharged
in early 1965. My wife,Theresa, and I were married in 1965 and have been
together for 37 years. We have three children: John-36, Beth Ann-34, and
Mike-32. I was employed at the U S Post Office for 26 years. I was Manager,
Station and Branches at quite a few of the Pittsburgh Branches. My last
three postal assignments were Manager at the Pleasent Hills Post Office,
the Mt Oliver/ Mt Washington Branch, and the Penn Hills Branch. I retired
from the postal service in 1992. I live in Pittsburgh, Pa. and have been
ever since I was discharged from the service. All though I have not lived
in Glassport for years I have come back to visit old friends. My heart
is still in Glassport. I have so many fond memories.

University in '69- worked as a social worker at McKeesport Hospital in
the early 70's until I married and moved to Denver, Colorado in 1973. I
was widowed in 1986. We had a daughter who is married and I have a 2 yr
old grandson. I went to graduate school at Denver University and work as
a psychotherapist for a health maintenance organization and work part time
as a metal artist. My mother lived in Glassport until her death in 2004
- she kept me informed of the happenings in the town.

firm based in Detroit; designing automation controls systems for the automotive
industry and writing the software that controls them. I still ride motorcycles.

who is 13, graduated in 1978 and am a paralegal in Deland Florida... But
may be moving to where my endless love is in Connecticut or he may be moving
to Florida, with me. Isn't it amazing how God has his own plans for us.
And I am so happy I feel like I am 17 years old again..........

Now living in Sin City, Las Vegas. We left Glassport in 1961 and
moved to Michigan City, Indiana and lived there for 30 years before moving
to Las Vegas in 1991. Stan went to Holy Cross School and I went to St.
Cecilia's. We were married in St Cecilia's church on Feb. 2, l952. We just
celebrated our 51 wedding anniversary this year. We love it here in Vegas.
