Christmas 2006

As usual we led the neighborhood in inflatables, but the competition is catching up.

We first celebrated Christmas at home and then drove to Michigan to spend the holiday visiting Gail's parents and her sister's family. This gives us three opportunities to open presents.

We spent Christmas Eve at a neighborhood party, opened presents later that evening, and then left for Michigan about 9:30 am. There was little traffic, but it rained constantly once we got on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Troy (which has a really nice breakfast buffet), and visited with Gail's parents and her sister's family every day. We opened more presents on the 26th.
