At our first reenactment of the year on the Carthage-Knightstown-Shirley Railroad the Greenfield Daily Reporter sent a photographer to cover the train robbery. The Daily Reporter has kindly permitted us the use of some of the photos here on our web site. This page has pictures of some of our posse members during the train ride. Page 2 has pictures from the shootout between the marshals and the outlaws robbing the train.

Apache Jack enjoys a cigar before boarding the train.

A couple of cowboys, Johnny Coyote and Peevine, discussing the price of cattle in Abilene no doubt.

The flirtatious Anita Mann rides the train looking for a man of means (and money!)

The infamous Mr. D'Hugh.

Beth Scott waiting for her favorite marshal, Irish Dave, to return from the confrontation with the outlaws.

Lupe Valdez sports a scar from an affaire du coeur, actually, a knife wielding husband to be more precise.

Peevine keeps an eye open for trouble.

The intemperate Turtle Creek Turner. We don't know what drove Turtle Creek to drink. We just know that he is enjoying the ride.
