The Church Must Help Lead the Health Crusade
How clergy can take a leading role in the health crusade.
Printed in THE PRESBYTERIAN OUTLOOK.
A Gospel of Fitness
This essay is a stimulating response to the US Surgeon General who said recently that he hoped American clergy would help lead the new national crusade for health, as effectively as they helped lead the civil rights movement a generation ago.
Instruments of Peace: The Grievance-Suggestion Procedure (GSP)
This is the first of several training instruments designed to guide pastors and church boards (vestries, sessions, etc.) in developing formulas to be used in congregations that want to protect themselves from the damaging types of conflict now common in the church. This instrument follows up on recommendations for generating peace in troubled congregations as described in the religious best-selling book entitled Clergy Killers.
