Trying to finish a record that has your "dream-come-true" musicians on it. It isn't your everyday situation one just wishes for and happens...lol It takes some serious determination to just even think about doing,let alone even happen... I have 7 kick-ass tracks laid down [one of which is complete for now] and ready for me to do my soloing over...But the issue is this: Greg Howe is the most ridiculously frightening,gifted guitarist/bassist/engineer/producer to ever be on the same record with.. Add to that Kevin Soffera on drums,pfffff, it is crazy to even comprehend sometimes. "Introspection" is my all-time favorite GH record and to have both players from that record on my project is an "Incredibly Challenging" endeavor.I am not kidding. What they laid down for me in less than a week will take me an insane amount of time to complete.These guys kill...... I have been studying with Greg for a while and find his style/sound THE HOLY GRAIL of guitar playing.. That simple...I HAD to learn "some" [.009% to be exact] of what he knows. Unfortunately it isn't that simple trying to play like that.... The truth is:When my chops are up to par,then my record shall be completed... Can't say when,I might jinx something..
