Gulfstream 100 - PSI has one aircraft in our Executive Charter Fleet

The IAI-1125 Astra is comprehensively upgraded development of the successful IAI-1124 Westwind, with a number of key changes to improve performance and increase cabin volume. It is now part of the expanded Gulfstream stable, designated G100.

The Astra is based on the basic Westwind II fuselage and tail, mated with an all new high speed swept wing (initially lacking winglets). Aside from the aerodynamic and hence performance benefits of the new wing, it was also repositioned low on the fuselage (as opposed to mid mounted on the Westwind), where it does not intrude on internal cabin space.

The original 1125 Astra was replaced in production by the Astra SP. Thirty seven were built before it was replaced by the SPX. The SPX, renamed G100 from September 2002, first flew in August 1994. It features more powerful FADEC equipped 18.9kN (4250lb) Honeywell TFE731-40R-200Gs, winglets and Collins Pro Line 4 avionics.

Cessna Citation II - PSI has one aircraft in our Executive Charter fleet

Cessna Citation II is a light corporate jet built by Cessna. Developed in the 1970s, it first flew on January 31 1977. The improved S550 Citation SII first flew on February 14 1984. Improvements included a new wing designed using supercritical technology and JT15D4B turbofans. The SII replaced the II in production from 1984, but the II returned to the lineup from late 1985. Both remained in production until the introduction of the Bravo.

Cessna 404 Titan II - PSI has one Aircraft in our Air Cargo fleet

Special features / applications
In July 1975 Cessna announced it was developing a new piston twin suitable for airline, freight and corporate work, capable of taking off with a 1560kg (3500lb) payload from a 770m (2530ft) strip, similar in concept to the successful 402, but larger overall. The resulting aircraft was the Model 404 Titan, Cessna's largest piston engined twin developed thus far. It shares the same basic fuselage as the turbine powered 441 Conquest which was developed concurrently, but differs in having geared 280kW (375hp) piston engines and it is unpressurised. Other features include a bonded wet wing (then appearing on a number of 400 series Cessna twins) and the trailing link main undercarriage design shared with the Conquest.

The prototype Titan first flew on February 26 1975, production deliveries got underway in October the following year. Throughout the Titan's model life it was offered in three major versions, each differing in internal equipment fit. The Titan underwent minor modifications from 1980 when the wing span was increased and the wingtips redesigned, but production was to last for only another two years until 1982, by which time 378 had been built.

Cessna 208 Super Cargomaster - PSI has one aircraft in our Air Cargo fleet

The Cessna 208 Caravan first flew in 1982 and is now the mainstay of integrator feeder operations in the US domestic market. Cessna developed the original passenger- and cargo-carrying 208A into FedEx's Cargomaster. Cargomasters have higher weights, more cargo tie-down points, an underbelly cargo pannier, a taller fin and rudder, and new avionics. Cabin windows and the starboard rear door are deleted. At FedEx's request, Cessna also developed a larger 208B. Dubbed Super Cargomasters and entering service in October 1986, they have a 1.22m (4ft) fuselage stretch and can carry up to 1,910kg (4,215lb) of cargo. Some have a more powerful 503skW (675shp) engine, as fitted to the Cessna 208 Grand Caravan. By early 2002, Cessna had built more than than 1,000 208-based aircraft. All can operate from unprepared strips and require low maintenance.
