Glenmor Golden Retrievers
Founded in 1988 when we bought our first Golden Retriever, Glenmor Goldens has strived to showcase the myriad qualities of our favorite breed of dogs. We raised four puppies for Guiding Eyes for the Blind and participated in Therapy Dogs of Vermont. We also bred four litters of puppies, finding amazing families to share our love of these dogs and becoming part of our extended family.
We participate in many facets of the sport of purebred dogs including conformation shows, obedience trials, hunting retriever tests, working certificate tests, tracking tests, agility trials and rally obedience trials. To improve our skills we have attended numerous seminars and workshops with nationally renowned experts. We have read many books and journals to evaluate new approaches and opinions.
The proof is in the performance. We have earned numerous titles in the US and Canada in each of the disciplines of the sport. Our dogs demonstrate an enjoyment of the events because our methods encourage teamwork, mutual respect and positive motivation.
First and foremost, our dogs are part of our family and our activities revolve around our canine family.
