![]() We spent most of today at the Olympic Park. First, we went to Biodome, an indoor zoo. There were many interesting animals. ![]() This was our favorite, the Golden Lion Tamarin. ![]() Macaws sure are pretty... ![]() ...but they're also loud! These two blue macaws were screeching at each other like nobody's business. ![]() The capybura is the largest rodent in the world. ![]() We saw Canadian versions of some relatives at Biodome. We saw a guy who was the spitting image of our cousin Donald. We also heard a kid who sounded exactly like our cousin Colin (although he did not look anything like him). ![]() After Biodome, we went up the Olympic Tower. A car brings passengers up the outside of the structure. ![]() These are the tracks for the car. ![]() The view from the Olympic Tower to the southeast. ![]() The view to the southwest. ![]() Some photo ops outside the Olympic Park. ![]()
![]() Next, we hopped on a shuttle bus to the Botanical Gardens and Insectarium. We started out at the Insectarium, which was mostly beetles and butterflies. Some of the scarab beetles were scary looking. ![]() The Botanical Gardens were very pretty and was a relaxing place to visit. We walked around some, then got lunch, then walked around some more. ![]()
![]() She's not hurting me, honest! ![]() This is my favorite picture of the three of us. ![]() This reminds me of the snowball fights me and Beth used to have behind the garage and Grandma's and Grandpa's.
