Tuesday, July 27th

Today we left Montreal, a very French city, for Quebec City, an even Frencher city. We drove out on Rue Sherbrooke, through the industrial section, and soon found ourselves in the countryside. After some scenic driving, we got back on the highway. We went through Trois-Rivieres, a city about halfway between Montreal and Quebec City. We arrived at the Quality Suites Quebec City and checked in.

Here we had a suite also. It was a nice-sized suite, and a bargain for $50 per night.

After getting settled, we went to nearby Zellers and Walmart to pick up some snacks and some personal items.
