Gomez is excited to announce a new addition to his Gallery... "Schiptember Wedding"

Schip fanatic Sherri Wells invited Gomez to Kim LeCompte and John Smith's wedding in Bumpass, Virginia, which took place during one of Hope Johnson's famous annual Schipnics! Gomez could not attend, but asked his owners to send this picture to the bride and groom to celebrate their very special day. Now all Schip fans can get in on the celebration with thier own signed, limited editon print. And part of the proceeds go to the Rimrock Humane Soceity in Billings, Montana. Congrats Kim and John!

Gomez Update

First of all, Gomez and Sarah have moved to a new house with a nice, big yard and a private squirrel reserve. And stairs to run up and down. It's nice to have your own little backyard empire!

So please note our new address
Belinda Ruelle, 7574 Chatham Way, Boulder, CO 80301.

Through his efforts and ours, Gomez Gear has raised over $500 for animal shelters and hospitals since he hit cyber-space in 2001. Many thanks to all who have made it possible.

We are happy to report that Gomez has been in excellent health for over two years now. Gomez spent much of 2002 battling a mysterious auto-immune illness. Towards the end of 2001, he suffered from raw footpads, and sores on his ears and around his mouth, as well as depression and a loss of energy. The sore feet prevented him from going for long walks or playing at the dog park. He was hardly able to be Gomez. The problem had to do with poor blood circulation to his extremities (if he had a tail, that would have been affected as well). Luckily, we were able to put him on blood thinners and steroids that have cleared up the outward symptoms and have allowed him to be himself again. His feet are better, his energy is back, and he has returned to his hobby of trying to show everyone at dog park who's really in charge. Gomez and his humans would like to thank all those Schippy owners who offered support and advice and who purchased Gomez Gear to help his medical fund.

Other recent additions to the Gomez Gallery include "Schi-Porcupine" shows a Schippy doing what they do best: Alerting us to the little things in life, in this case, a wayward ladybug.
"Things Are Looking Up" shows a little Schip in a forest of big dogs. Of course, every Schipperke thinks he's bigger than he really is...
These new reprints are limited to 100 signed and numbered copies of each piece. Both are approximately 4"x6" and come framed, signed and numbered.

Other new additions to the Gomez Gear line include a Schipperke Sympathy Card with Pet Memorial Candle, perfect for letting someone know you're thinking of them in their time of loss. The inside of the card reads "We'll Miss You At Playtime".

Another exciting addition to Gomez Gear is the Personalized Gomez Doll. For an extra $4, you can have your dog's name stitched into the collar of a Gomez doll. See the Gomez Gear page for details!
