GooD DeeDs of Oak Ridge supports the independence of the elderly and/or disabled in and around Knoxville TN.

GooD DeeDs of Oak Ridge Inc. modifies the homes of the elderly and/or disabled client in and around the City of Oak Ridge TN, totally free of charge. Andy Owen is the founder, owner, and staff of GooD DeeDs. Clients who reside in Anderson, Roan, Knox, Union, Cambell, Loudon, Morgan or Scott Counties contact GooD DeeDs for assistance for building a wheel chair ramp. GooD DeeDs can also enlarge doorways to allow free passage of wheel chairs, and/or install hand rails in stairwells, hallways, bathrooms and bedrooms. Clients must have a genuine need and limited resources to afford home modifications.

GooD DeeDs spends up to four days in each client's home, utilizing donated material and funds to modify the client's home to make it safer and more accessible. GooD DeeDs also solicits volunteers to donate their time and effort in support of GooD DeeDs goals.

GooD DeeDs of Oak Ridge has built 23 ramps since March 2007.
