Current commander of the Mountain Lions. Hails from the House Grenna in Gerth and a paladin of Heironeous. Only 25 years old, Baroth has demonstrated courage and valour in the recent campaign against the Giants. Loyal to the Regent, he has accepted the commision for 12 months such that he may prove his worth. Of all things, Baroth is certainly in-experienced and relies heavily on his close friend Caldon for advice.
Knight Baroth Grenna is not expected to re-new his commission next spring and the regent has already begun screening prospective replacements.
Caldon Salidor,
Technically second in command, Caldon is a long standing ranger originally from the personal guard of Count Manz. Leaving the service of the count after the Greyhawk wars, Caldon became a scout for the blacksmith's guild. He was reknown for his uncanny ability to find precious veins of adamantium and mithril within the Joten mountains. He is considered the foremost tracker and guide to the mountains west of Cryllor.
Asha Mehrak,
One of the few full blooded Baklunish individuals that maintains a residence in Cryllor, Asha certainly stands out in a crowd; tall and slim with long dark curls of coal black hair. Considered too "spirited" to maintain rank in any elitist organization, she has woked her way into the favor of the Regent. Asha was originally brought to Cryllor as a slave where she was located by the constabulary and released as a free individual. She joined the local watch and spent 6 six years breaking up a secret underground slave trading ring. Asha has since answered the call of the Regent for help against the giants. She has quickly learned the ways of the scout and is expected to advance to mountaineer before the end of the year.
Asha is generally at odds with Caldon, and although he is certainly the most qualified to replace Baroth, she feels he lacks the leadership qualities to do so.
