CONTRIBUTORS

Contributions to the University of Minnesota Handball Club are needed to help reduce handball tournament costs for our U of M Handball Club players.

The 2007 collegiate tournament will be held Feb 22-25 at Spectrum Club in Canoga Park, California which is about 45 minutes north of LAX. We will send about 10 players and two coaches. The cost to the players will be airfare which is about $300. The rest (motel, gloves, U of M shirt, handballs, cab fare etc.) will be paid by U of M handball contributors.

The 2006 Collegiate Handball Tournament was held Feb. 22-26 at Texas A&M in College Station, Texas. Each player paid $300 which basically covered their air fare. The rest came from contributions. Thank You Contributors!!

The 2005 Collegiate tournament was hosted right here in Minneapolis at the University of Minnesota Rec Center so the cost to our 12 U of M players was minimal.

The 2004 Collegiate was held at Southwest Missouri State at Springfield, Missouri. The cost to our seven players was kept down to about $140 each through contributions and the 10 hour drive time allowed us to save air fare by driving a large fifteen passenger U of M van. The rest was paid for by contributions.
