Karen Steele is the 33rd District Chairman, a Normandy Park Precinct Committee Officer and Grassroots Party Activist. Karen was a Delegate to the 2004 National Republican Convention in NY. She opened the only District Headquarters in Washington State and possibly the country. She also organized an event called "Take Back King County" which debuted on July 3, 2005. The second annual "Take Back King County" event is scheduled for July 2, 2006.
Karen`s background is rooted firmly in the business world. She had her own business at an early age. She went on to become the Cofounder of the National Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Karen has been very involved In the community. She volunteered at a veterans care center of a public hospital, she was a member of the PTA, has organized many fundraisers, and worked on six political campaigns. Today, as she continues to promote the Republican Party, she also works to protect the safety and character of her neighborhood.
Karen has been married to her husband Bill for 21 years and they have a son David who is 17.
