This page is for a 12.5-inch span micro version of a Baby Bombshell I built with my 8-year old son. Wings are curved plate wire cut blue foam wings from BSDmicroRC.com, with a 4-inch chord. This is more than the 3.2 inches chord a 18-inch span Bombshell would have. The goal is a very low wing loading, which should be about 1.85 oz/sq.ft. Fueslage is 3mm Depron and tail is 2mm Depron, both tissue covered. Trim on the wing is painted on.

Hardware is JMP actuator combo RX, BSD 4:1 geared 7mm orange SS motor, and MicroAct's. Weight is be about 26.75 grams.

The plane has now flown and flys very slow and stable. My son has now graduated from the trainer cord and flew this plane without a trainer cord from his very first flight with this plane. He has now "soloed". Flying pics to come later.
