This page is for a 13.5-inch span 2mm Depron profile P38. It uses the Plantraco Micro-900 receiver and a 30mAh LiPoly cell. Actuators are the new BSDmicroRC MicroAct's, which weight about 0.41g each. Covering top and bottom is printed tissue drawn up in Corel Draw. Propulsion is a 4x11mm 10 ohm Didel pager, geared 6.7:1. Prop is MCF carbon fiber 3.2x2.2 inch.
The first picture is of a test bed simple Depron glider I made about six months ago. It was weighted down with clay to represent equipment for a 18-inch span with 6mm motor version of the plane. It served to determine the CG. But, with the new 30mAh LiPoly cell, BSD MicroAct's, and Plantraco system I decided based on how my Monocoupe performed to scale the plane down to 4mm pager size.
Next are graphics drawn up in Corel Draw and printed out on tissue adhered to printer paper with Delta Stencil Magic Adhesive (sold in the craft section of Wallmart), and then run through an ordinary HP inkjet printer. Tissue is adhered to the Depron with 3M Photo Mount adhesive.
More details to come.
