This is a page for a profile 16.5 inch P40 Warhawk for RFFS-100.

The plane is built from Paul Bradley's No-Cal plans. Paul also kindly provided a set of graphics files he had created. This saved me from having to start with Fiddlers Green files for a 3D fuselage and all the editing that would have been involved. Paul's graphics were resized and printed on tissue which is then applied.

Wings are Bob Selman hot wire cut blue foam, cut down to tapered wings and then sanded to shape. This makes the wings more flat bottomed near the tips. Span was determined by the chord, and is 16.5 inches and results in 49.5 sq. in. area. Fuselage is 6mm Depron foam. Tail is 1.5mm Kenway foam.

Propulsion is M20-LV in a 6.7:1 Carl Martin gearbox with a 5x4 3-bladed CF prop I molded. Actuators are BSD Mini Act's. Receiver is RFFS-100, with an Azarr antenna.

All up weight is 30 grams.
