This is a quick conversion of the FF foamie "Classic Biplane", or in reality a Staggerwing Beech. It does not use the lightest equipment. Receiver is a FMA M5 dual conversion. Controller is Castle Creations Phoenix 10. Servos are HS50's. Battery is a 3-cell pack of the WES Technik 310mAh LiPoly cells. Motor is my 9.4g brushless outrunner. All up weight is 120g. With a 5x3 props this setup develops 105g of thrust, so climb is good. It flew for the first time at NEAT 2004, before the rains came. It flys great. It loops easily, can fly fast, and slows down very well. All in all it is a nice flyer.
More pictures to come, of it flying ...
