Chapter Information

The Gen. Josiah Gorgas Chapter of the Military Order of the Stars and Bars was chartered at the historical Gorgas Home on the University of Alabama campus on July 18th, 2006. State Commander Alan Dismukes presented the charter to members and guests. At its chartering, it was the largest chapter in the State Society and remains in that position as it continues to grow under the capable leadership of Commander Walter Dockery, Lieut-Commander John Fleming and Adjutant Sam Gambrell.
