Membership Eligiblity and Current Officers
All legitimate male descendants, lineal or collateral, who served as officiers in the Confederate Army or Navy to the end of the War, or who died in prison or while in actual service, or who were killed in battle or who were honorably retired or discharged, and descendants of elected or appointed officials of the Confederate or Executive branch of the civil government shall be eligible for membership provided that the first generation was a legitimate child of a Confederate ancestor and at least twelve (12) years of age. All applicants must complete an application that verifies all generations to meet requirements for membership and sign the Military Order of the Stars and Bars Loyalty Oath.
