I was born and grew up in the state of Utah, USA.  Utah's about 800 miles from California, just east and north of...  I learned at an early age to respect myself and found out later in life just what an important lesson that is...  Be true to yourself and you can't go wrong.

In October of 1998 an interesting thing happened to me.  While I was dispatching for Salt Lake City Police Department a friend and coworker stumbled upon a job being advertised in the local newspaper for a position in Alaska.  I'd had thoughts as far back as I can remember of moving from the desert to the cool climate of Alaska, so an application and a few phone calls later and my vehicle, along with everything else and I, were whisked away via a three day ferry trip from Seattle, Washington to Alaska.  And now, nearing October 2003, I'm approaching five years away from home.  What a learning experience!

One of the first things people ask about when they find out I grew up in Utah is my religion; everyone wants to know if I'm "Mormon."  If there's one thing Utah is famous for, it's for the number of "Mormons" that live within its borders.  Yes, I'm Mormon.  Unfortunately I haven't been steadfast in my religion over the years; it is a difficult religion to follow, albeit very rewarding.

My favorite thing to do in the world is talk.  One on one or in a group of people, it really doesn't matter.  I have a very open mind, and I'm extremely open to new thoughts and ideas.  Though I'm not necessarily going to change my opinions, I love to listen to other peoples' ideas and opinions.  I don't get angry if my thoughts differ from the thoughts of another.  In fact, I find talking to someone with differing viewpoints to most often be both refreshing and a learning experience.  Yeah, look out chat rooms, here I come! ☺ 

I'm not "in to" cyber sex, dirty talk, or anything that in any way negates good old fashioned discussion.  I love using text to chat because it allows people to portray themselves the way they are inside instead of letting "outside judgments" clog the air.  Thanks for your interest! ☺
