Join your sisters and enjoy delicious food and friendship, as well as honor and support our new Gamma Phi Beta, 2010 Woman of The Year recipient. Our 2009 recipient Pam Kulp Pheffer was honored last year along with other women from Kansas City alumnae groups. The Alumnae Panhellenic of Greater Kansas City was founded in 1901 and is made up of 21 national sororities. It provides a wonderful service to worthy collegiate sorority women by awarding educational scholarships. Funds are raised through the silent auction and raffle ticket drawing during this annual brunch and through donations from other sorority alumnae chapters, including our local alumnae chapter. Collegiate applicants are evaluated by scholastic achievement, financial need, college and community activities, recommendation letter, and interview skills. The Silent Auction is extraordinary and the $300 Raffle Ticket Drawing was won by our own Julie Scott; she promptly returned $150 back to the scholarship fund!
