Blank Pages Discography and Music Reviews

Blank Pages - Absolute Uncertainty

Kool Kat Musik # PURR 033

Absolute Uncertainty is the latest release from South Jersey’s power pop veterans Blank Pages. The band has teamed up with Kool Kat Musik to release their fourth collection of irresistible hooks that mine memorable melodies from a variety of pop influences. The band’s sound is a blend of familiar references ranging from the old school (Big Star, Beatles and Raspberries) to the modern power pop purveyors like Jason Falkner, Mike Viola and Sloan.

Blank Pages - On My Street

FDR Label # 033, 2007

On My Street, released on the FDR Label in 2007, continued the band’s tradition of churning out pop hooks that get into your head and won’t come out.  On My Street’s 13 well-crafted tracks are loosely tied together by Potter’s perspective of growing up in the Garden State. His personal lyrics provide a variety of intimate snapshots of his life and the region.

Left of the Dial - A Pop Tribute

to the Replacements, 2003

The first FDR Label tribute CD was a homage to the Replacements. FDR recruited a bunch of awesome indie-rock bands who felt likewise and focused on the melodic and lyrical sensibilities of the band. CD is the labels all-time best seller and after a recent repressing is still in stock.
