Joe Trippi became famous as
Howard Dean's campaign manager during the presidential campaign of
2004, and then served as Internet and Media Advisor to John Edwards for
President in 2008. I shot spots for both Edwards and Dean, and for many
other candiates Joe has advised. You'll find two of the best on Joe's Reel, "Liberty"
and "Closed Doors" - scroll down to the bottom for these classic
political spots. |
| The Foundation for Middle East Peace came
to us with a 50-minute program on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict they
wished to cut to 30-minutes, "Searching
for Peace in the Middle East". We shot a new opening and
conclusion and
re-edited the film to their target length, plus designed and authored a
new DVD. |

I am currently shooting and editing "They Closed Our Schools" for Mercy Seat Films. This is one of the great untold stories of the Civil Rights Era: in 1959, local officials closed the public school system of Prince Edward County, Virginia, in defiance of the desegregation ruling of the United States Supreme Court in Brown v. Board of Education. For a period of five years, public education was denied to more than 2,000 African-American children and a number of poor white children who, with only a few exceptions, remained unschooled. |
| Robert Greenwald
pioneered
the distribution of progressive documentary films over the Internet
with "UNCOVERED: The War on
Iraq", "OUTFOXED: Rupert
Murdoch's War on Journalism", and "WAL-MART: The High Cost of Low
Price", leveraged through alliances with oganizations like moveon.org. I worked as Director of
Photography on "UNCOVERED" and "OUTFOXED". |
