Do you know for sure that you have eternal life?

Every hard drive crashes eventually, and so does every human body. Eventually everyone becomes disconnected from real life. Don't try to log on to the Eternitynet without the password: Jesus Christ!

"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Acts 2:21).

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12).

The problem is: You and I and everyone else have sinned against God and lost any claim on heaven.

"There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus" (Romans 3:22-24).

"The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

The good news is: God loves you and doesn't want to lose you.

"God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

"God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

The thing to do now is: Admit to God that you are a sinner, and believe in Jesus for forgiveness and eternal salvation.

"If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:8-9).

"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31).

Congratulations! You are a child of God! You have eternal life! You have fellowship with God by his Holy Spirit.

"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are" (1 John 3:1)!

"Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, 'Abba, Father'" (Galatians 4:6).
