Model Railroading

In February 2002 I started working on my model railroad. For pictures click the picture links above. I will be posting more pictures as I get them developed. I have many more yet to scan.

This is my first experience with building a model railroad and I am learning as I go. I am open to suggestion when it comes to my layout.

I am building an HO scale railroad which I designed. It will eventually be named the J&L Railroad once I decide to do some repainting of my stock and engines. The initial layout is 24'X4' and will be expanded on as time and money permits.

Here are my concept drawings for the layout. Note, the squares are 1 foot in size and the numbers are the approximate elevations form the base benchwork.
