Mike's O Gauge Train Site

These are a few pictures of the "in progress" 6x10 layout at our home in Southwestern PA. It's a TMCC controlled, double loop with crossovers and 4 stub sidings. All track and switches are Gargraves. The base is homosote over plywood with cork roadbed under the mainline. Scenery is real dirt and ground foam over a thick layer of acrylic house paint. The trees are primarily Scenic Express' Super Trees. These are dried weeds which you then adhere ground foam to. Very simple yet effective.
