||
Sigi is a small Sheltie with a big heart. He is a CCI Facility Dog with his partner Ralph. Sigi and Ralph visit patients on the oncology unit of Mercy General Hospital. Cheryl was a patient there undergoing treatment for leukemia for most of the last year of her life. When Ralph discovered Cheryl's love of animals, he and Sigi began to visit her each time they were at the hospital. Her hospital room wall s were covered with photos of Sigi. Cheryl's last request was to have Sigi next to her. She died with Sigi in her arms. |
