Eastern Regional Entry Form

The Entry Form is in PDF format. You need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer to access the form. If you need to get Acrobat Reader you can download it for free from Adobe. Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.

A JPG version of the entry form is also available for anyone without Adobe Acrobat Reader. It isn't as nice as the PDF version. It is smaller and won't print out as nicely, but it should get you entered at the Regional. To find it click on the form above or click HERE.

About the Great Lakes
Freight & Mining Co.

The Great Lakes Freight and Mining Co. is a Posse of the National Congress of Old West Shootists (NCOWS). We hold monthly Western Action Shoots on the Second Sunday of each month at Indian Trails Sporting Clays, 7490 S. Indian Trail Road, Modoc, IN. We shoot using the rules established by National Congress of Old West Shootists. During a typical shoot we will normally shoot approximately 30 pistol shots, 50 to 60 rifle shots, 12 to 18 shotgun rounds, and 10 to 12 rounds fired from a pocket pistol. Registration begins at 9:00 AM, and following a brief Safety Meeting, shooting begins at 10:00AM.

The Great Lakes Freight and Mining Co. also has been designated as a Living Museum by the State of Indiana.

For recent posse happenings visit GLFMC News. Also, on our site you can find the dates and times for all our shoots, re-enactments, and activities on the Schedule page, and you can also find a link to Other Area Shoots. The Posse Members page has news and notes about our posse members, and we have pictures of several members in their Old West Period attire. We have some pictures of our range in our Photo gallery, and some pictures taken at a few of the past re-enactments to the gallery. If you are not familiar with Western Action Shooting (also called Cowboy Shooting) there is a description of the sport on the Western Action Shooting page, and a page with some Frequently Asked Questions about NCOWS. And finally, we have a page of Links to sites devoted to the Old West or Western Action Shooting.

Congratulations are in order- Posse member "Irish Dave" Scott has been asked to serve on the Indiana State Rifle and Pistol Association as a WAS/NCOWS Representative.
