My 1999Toyota 4Runner SR5 Highlander SX! :)

Well, after at least 16 long hard years of school (I've lost count already), I wasready to get out into the real world and drive a real vehicle! At first, I wanted a sportscar. Then I realized, hmmm... there's really not enough space for me to haul around all mystuff, and I'm used to riding up higher above traffic now. So it was that I decided to getan SUV. Of course, being me, I had to get the best out there! The cute-utes are too smallfor my tastes, and the full-size SUVs are big monsters! I wanted something compact, yetbig enough to hold stuff.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee, well, it was totally redesigned for 1999, so it's essentiallya new vehicle. Alas, I wasn't too thrilled about Chrysler's reliability history. So it wasthat I settled on a Toyota4Runner. Hey, with the reliability, rugged good looks and major sex appeal, how couldyou go wrong? :)

I ordered mine straight off the ship. I went in and picked it up from the dealer on Feb12, 1999, just in time for Valentines Day! My lady was quiteimpressed that she didn't have to ride in a *ahem* minivanthat day! :)
