Georgia Traffic

The Georgia Traffic widget brings maps hosted by the Georgia Department of Transportation’s Georgia Navigator site straight to your desktop. Choose a region and a refresh interval on the reverse side of the Widget, and enjoy access to miniature map files refreshed periodically as you view your Dashboard.

Choose from several Atlanta-area maps, Macon, or a statewide view to see traffic speeds, construction, and accidents. Click the map to view a larger version on the Georgia Navigator site with incident details. You can even place multiple instances of this Widget on your dashboard to view different maps or regions.

Download and Installation Instructions

Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required. If you're using Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon in the Widget Bar to open it. If you're using a browser other than Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
