4 th Annual Mt. Baldy Cup
Homebrew Competition

What: This is a single style homebrewing competition sponsored by the Duneland Homebrewers Association and sanctioned by the AHA (American Homebrewers Association).

When: Judging will be held on Saturday - June 12, 2004. -- 1pm (Judging starts 11am)

Where: Duneland Brewhouse. 5718 S. Franklin St. Michigan City, IN.

Who: Anyone may enter. Beers must be entered under the name of all brewers who helped. Beers brewed in commercial facilities are ineligible.

Entry Fee: $5.00 per entry submission. Cash or check payable to DHBA c/o Jenny McBride should accompany your entry.

Entry Requirements: (2) - 10 to 14 ounce green or brown glass bottles are required for each entry. Bottles should be free of all labels and identifying marks. No swing tops please. A bottle I.D. form must be attached to each bottle with a rubber band. All entries become property of the Duneland Homebrewers Association.

Category : This year's style is BAVARIAN DUNKELWEIZEN - BJCP #17B. Style guidelines are attached.

Deadline: Ship or deliver you entries so as to arrive between June 1st and June 7th.

Awards: Medals and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place.
As an added bonus, the 1st Place winner will have the opportunity to have their award winning recipe brewed at Duneland Brewhouse in Michigan City, IN.

The 4th Annual Mt. Baldy Cup was another rousing success. We had (9) entires from northern Indiana and Michigan.


Congrats to all our winners and contestants. Thanks to our judges: Chuck, Mike and Barb - they did a great job. Also thanks to all those who donated gifts and prizes for our contest winners.
